Expressive Arts Therapy
Working with Subconscious Fears • Unleashing Creativity • Artist Within
Expressive Arts offers ways to process challenging experiences and build emotional capacity in the face of uncertainty and unexpected events. Participants are encouraged to Meet The Artist Within — the part that remembers how to risk, play, and let subconscious fears dissolve into the pure current of creative flow.
By engaging with multiple art forms such as experiential portrait drawing, liquid paint-pouring, creative writing, movement and conscious touch the focus shifts from a diagnostic perspective to one that is presence and embodiment oriented.

Art Psychotherapy
Art psychotherapy combines psychological theory with creative practice to support emotional expression, using the artwork as a mirror of your inner world. When words are not enough, working visually can help access experiences that may be difficult to articulate. Creative activity engages areas of the brain linked to memory, emotion, and imagination, often allowing what feels stuck or unspoken to find expression.
Sessions begin with grounding and a brief check-in, followed by time to work with materials such as paint, drawing media, or collage. Techniques may be offered to support exploration, and you are always free to engage at your own pace. Time is given for shared reflection and integration, discussing themes, symbols, and emotional responses that arise through the creative process.
No artistic skill is required. The focus is on the process rather than the outcome. The artwork serves as a reflective tool, helping to explore patterns, relationships, and internal experiences that may not be easily reached through conversationally. Our sessions welcome everyone who wants to connect with their creative inner life. It may also provide preperation and integration support for those reflecting on significant spiritual or transformative experiences.
Sessions are confidential and held within clear professional boundaries.
What Participants Are Saying...
The participant shares her experience of a session non-verbally through body language. This enabled her to express what was not easily accessible through words.
